Modes and filters
- Keyword trends, one report per keyword, or up to five compared on one scale.
- Trending now: today's trending searches for any countries, with approximate volume and the news behind each one.
- Filters: country or region, time range from the past hour to 2004 onwards, search type (web, images, news, Shopping, YouTube) and category.
Why not pytrends?
The popular unofficial library is no longer maintained and often fails with rate-limit errors. Google's official Trends API is still an application-only alpha. This Actor paces requests and retries automatically, so you get complete data instead of errors.
